Project Coordinator / Researcher
Wade Hoxtell
Wade Hoxtell is Project Coordinator and Researcher for the Global Public Policy Institute's "Changing rules of the game: Global energy governance in the 21st century" research program. His responsibilities include supporting research, organizing and implementing GPPi's "Transatlantic Energy Security Dialogues" conference series, outreach (i.e. project website development and maintenance), as well as project and financial administration.
He is currently a Research Associate with the Global Public Policy Institute, Berlin. In addition to his work on GPPi's energy governance research, he is editor of the UN-Business Focal Point, a newsletter GPPi produces in cooperation with the United Nations Global Compact Office. His research interests include public-private partnerships, corporate social responsibility and global energy governance. Wade holds a B.A. in International Relations and German from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an M.A. in Central and Eastern European Studies from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland.
From 2001-2002 he studied a year at the University of Bonn. Before joining the Global Public Policy Institute in May 2006, he was a project assistant with the Aspen Institute Berlin. From 2003-2004 he worked as a legislative aide in the Wisconsin State Senate.
